Joseph Taggart McNarney (b. Aug. 28, 1893, Emporium, Pennsylvania-d. Feb. 1, 1972), General in the U.S. Army, graduated from West Point in 1915. During World War I, he served as commanding officer, 1st Corp Observation Group; head of Air Service, 3rd Corps; and on the staff of the chief of Air Service, 1st Army during key offensives in France.
